FPV and UAVs are no longer niche topics but part of the technological landscape worth being familiar with.

Dual-use technologies are no longer a highly specialized field but an area that increasingly intersects with the IT industry — from engineering and software development to data analytics and robotics. The program provides an opportunity to explore a new field, expand your technological profile, and gain practical experience beyond your usual responsibilities.

That is why the Vinnytsia IT Association, together with the “Irbis” Training Center, has launched the “Dual-Use Technologies in the IT Industry (FPV/UAV)” program.

The program is designed to develop new practical technological competencies and support the professional upskilling of IT professionals.

The training will combine theoretical preparation with hands-on exposure to FPV and UAV technologies. The program will also include demonstration sessions with microdrones and demonstration flights with Mavic drones, where participants will see the equipment in action, communicate with instructors, and gain practical experience.

The online component of the program is also delivered through the Tech Synergy platform — a partner network of IT clusters across Ukraine. This means that the competencies and experience gained through the project will extend beyond Vinnytsia to IT communities in other regions of the country.
