🦠A meeting of IT clusters and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine regarding the organization of vaccination of IT company specialists has just taken place.
We summarize the discussion:
1️⃣ According to the National Population Vaccination Plan, it is planned to vaccinate 70% of the adult population (~24 million people) by the end of 2021. Currently, four vaccines are available in the country:
AstraZeneca (Covishield), Sinovac Biotech, Pfizer-BioNTech, and Novavax.
💉As the Deputy Minister of Health, Chief Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko claims: "In conditions of vaccine shortage, we are working first on target groups... If the supplies improve, then around the end of June, it will be possible to vaccinate employees of the IT industry."
2️⃣ For now, you can confirm your vaccination in the following ways:
• DiY application;
• The place where the second vaccination was given;
• TsNAP
Eventually, digital certificates will become available, which will significantly simplify the procedure for traveling abroad.
3️⃣ IT workers (not including families) will be vaccinated in an organized manner. Mobile teams will leave and carry out vaccination at the gathering place.
✅ For this, you need the following:
• Submit from the regional office the number of companies and the number of people wishing to be vaccinated (the application can be adjusted);
• Wait for confirmation from the mobile team;
• Gather and get vaccinated.
• No additional tests are required either before or after vaccination. According to V. Lyashko, this is just a marketing ploy.
While this system is aimed at companies with 50+ employees, smaller organizations can agree and sign up together.
