EPAM invites veterans to IT training

For the third time, the company is offering veterans the opportunity to learn the basics of computer science and programming to choose one of the IT professions. The IT for Veterans program is free of charge and will start in October in an online format.


During the program, participants will be able to learn the basics of IT and gain knowledge of software development. These are necessary to master a new IT profession, regardless of previous experience, education, age, or location.


“IT for Veterans will be held in two stages. The first stage, which lasts six weeks, involves learning the basics of programming, computer science, and math for IT in Ukrainian. Upon successful completion of this stage, veterans will be able to choose an in-depth course in English. Among the available courses are Java, .NET, Test Automation, Manual Testing, Cloud and devops, Front-End, and Business Analysis. The duration of this stage depends on the chosen direction.


The number of places is limited to 50 participants. Prerequisites include being a veteran, having an A2+ English level, and wanting to become an IT professional. Classes with ERAM experts will be held three times a week, and self-study is also provided. You can register and get more details here.


Mentoring support is provided for veterans to make the training comfortable. During previous training waves, more than 100 veterans and their families have already completed the program.
