Tietoevry Create Ukraine has made a charitable contribution of €20,000 to the Ukrainian foundation “SVOYI”, which provides medical rehabilitation for people injured as a result of the war.
The donation will cover the cost of surgical plates needed to restore damaged limbs through bone autoplasty procedures. In the context of the enormous strain on Ukraine’s healthcare system, this support will help dozens of people return to a full life.
“We feel responsibility not only for our 1,500 specialists in Ukraine but also for the society we live in and shape together. Supporting the ‘SVOYI’ foundation gives us an opportunity to extend a helping hand to those who have suffered,” said Oleksandr Kolotynets, Head of Delivery Operations Ukraine.
The “SVOYI” foundation specializes in supporting people who require complex and costly medical treatment. Even though healthcare in Ukraine is formally free, patients often face a shortage of essential materials.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Tietoevry has been actively supporting Ukraine. Beyond ensuring the safety of its employees, the company has taken part in a number of social initiatives aimed at helping affected civilians.
