We attended the Tech Ecosystem Summit held in Kyiv last Friday!

Among the key topics: a presentation of the Diia.City.Union association, panel discussions with leading market players regarding the development and opportunities of Ukrainian IT in wartime conditions.

In particular, it was also about the economic blocs caused by the current process of mobilization and reservations, namely:

- drop of Ukrainian export of IT services last year by almost 10 percent;

- significant reduction of viable startups, incl. aimed at supporting victims

- ignoring the possibility of a reserve of direct contractors (FOP), which directly bring currency to Ukraine, and therefore, uncollected taxes and expenses

Nevertheless, world leaders are interested in investing in Ukrainian business. So, for example, the European Institute of Innovation and Technology was launched in Kyiv this year, and big players like Google are ready to financially and expertly support young startups and have already started a new wave of accepting applications.
